DESCRIPTION

Your community of heroes has narrowly escaped their test at Dol Guldur. After a brief stay in Lórien, your group is on the way back to Thranduil when they see smoke rising strokes of Mirkwood. The black plumes lead you to the smoking remains of a village of Woodman, with scattered bodies and black feathered arrows that stick on their backs. This is clearly the work of the goblins, and the painful breaths of a dying Woodman tell you that the survivors were taken by the demons in their den in the forest. You swear to save them if you can, or to avenge them if you cannot, and therefore you pull your weapons and follow the track in the woods.

This autonomous scenarios pack contains two adventures: the nibin-dûm oath and caves. These scenarios were initially published as part of the Limited Collector’s Edition for The Lord of the Rings LCG. Now, with the inclusion of new boon and burden cards and the beginning of the revised base set, you and your hero companions can take these two difficult scenarios as their own adventure in two parts or as an extension of the campaign MIRKWOOD PATHS OF THE BASIC. Are you going to track down the goblins and save the captives? Or are you going to get lost in the darkness of Mirkwood?
