Boardgames rental is only carried out at the store La Pioche In the Montcalm district in Quebec. No game will be delivered for rental.
Rental games can be reserved by phone by calling for the shop at 418-614-4104 during opening hours. Rental can be made for a period of a day or 7 days.
The rental rates are as follows and are indicated for each game in the list at the bottom of the page:
- Small game (<$ 45) ==> $ 5/1 day or $ 7/7 days
- Medium game (between $ 45 and $ 85) ==> $ 8/1 day or $ 10/7 days
- Expansive game (> $ 85) ==> $ 13/1 day or $ 15/7 days
Late delay fees + TX per day of delay are applicable when returning the game after the scheduled date.
When returning from the game, buying the same new game as the rented game, a credit of 50% of the rental price is applicable on the purchase invoice.
The returns scheduled on Mondays and Tuesdays must be made on Wednesdays of the same week.
A deposit is requested for booking each game. The amount of the deposit is written for each game in the list at the bottom of the page. The deposit can be made of cash or pre-authorization on a credit card. The deposit is given to the customer when returning from the game. If the game is not returned on the scheduled date, two recall emails will be sent within days of the scheduled date. In the event that the game is not returned after the two reminders, the deposit will be kept or debited on the credit card by La Pioche.
The game must be returned to the state in which it has been recovered. In case of breakage or piece missing, the deposit will be kept or debited on the credit card by La Pioche.
