The Portuguese King called the best stone tailors in the country to pave one of the most important places with Calçada tiles (famous black and white tiles worldwide that lifts several places in Portugal). But the task is enormous and the players will have to count using help cards that will help them score points and/or collect money.
In Rossio, the players start the game by pulling five cards and keeping three of them on their hands.
During the turn of a player, the players first recruit a card of their hands, placing it at the right place on the right under their game board, sliding to the left all the cards previously recruited, eliminating the card which slides from their plateaus (under each game board there are only 3 cards for cards). If the newly recruited card is played opposite visible, players must pay its cost in piece. If the card is played in front of hidden, no amount of money should be spent.
Then, all the cards under a player game tray will activate: the visible facing cards will give the player points for each time the pattern represented on the card is found on the box. The hidden facing cards will provide the 1 -piece player each.
Then players must build the most left -wing Calçada tile of their player. Players can never voluntarily change the order of the tiles on their set. At any time, players can however spend 1 room to exchange 2 piece On their tray which are orthogonally adjacent. The tile must be built in the orthogonally adjacent square with at least 2 elements: 1 tile and 1 wall, or 2 tiles. And must be built on the most left -made space available from the line it is building. If the players manage to build perpendicularly next to a similar tile, they can in bonus build the next the next left tile, and so on, until they decide to stop or until they cannot build more. The players then collect 1 room for each room represented on the spaces that have been left free on their playing sets after the construction of the tiles.
Finally, players end their turn by pulling 1 card in their hand from the 4 cards available on the market. However, the amount of cards that players can choose depends on the number of tiles they have built. So, if the players build only one tile, they must take the 1st card. If they build 3 tiles, for example, they can choose between the 1st, 2nd or 3rd card. The players finish their turn by filling the empty spaces with their players of players with tiles of the opposite batteries.
While the place is constructed cooperatively, some reasons appear more often than others and the score of visible cards becomes exponential. Also, when players complete a column, they collect a bonus, which can either be 1 room or get more cards. The money is very tight in this game, so winning an additional part can be crucial to recruit a card from your hand visible.
The game ends when the box is over and the player with the most points wins the game.
Rossio is all about timing: recruit a visible card visible in the game, and then he will mark less than expected.
