DESCRIPTION
The Resafa game takes place during the 3rd century AD in today's region in the Middle East. Resafa is today in ruins in modern Syria, but at that time it was a fortified outpost of the desert which prospered like a stop along large caravan roads.
In the game, the players represent merchants who travel for business trips and buy and sell goods in the different cities of the region. Resafa had no local water sources, it therefore depended strongly on large tanks to collect rainwater from spring and winter to make the area habitable. Players build water tanks and canals to distribute this water where it is necessary. In cities, they build workshops to help their companies grow, which will allow them to collect resources and camels. They also build gardens between companies, generating more resources and also victory points.
The game takes place over six laps. Each turn, a player only makes three actions by playing action cards in this tight and exciting game.
