DESCRIPTION

In Overboss, rival bosses come out of their dungeons to conquer overworld. Each round, the players draft and place tiles in the field and monster tokens. Their objective: to create the map with the greatest power and become the ultimate Overboss.

Designed by Aaron Mesburne and Kevin Russ (Calico), this frantic game combines the draft, the collection of sets and the installation of tiles in the form of a puzzle. It takes place in the world of Retro-inspired Pixel Art of the Boss Seller Boss Monster of Brotherwise Games, but it is an entirely new experience.

Build your map by draft forests, swamps, caves, camps, cemeteries, dungeon entries and other landscapes. Each type of terrain has a different point value and a certain increase in power as you buy larger sets. Players must optimize their placement, anticipate their scoring and disturb the sets of their opponents. They will also have to manage monsters, which report points when grouped or placed on corresponding land.
