Nassau is the 7th game in the Stefan Feld City Collection series!

Play the role of pirates going on an adventure. Each of you has your own ship, which requires a competent crew armed to the teeth, plenty of cannons, ammunition and provisions to prosper by sailing the seas, conquering outposts, fighting sea monsters and plundering valuable goods. Tell your stories over a bottle of rum and impress your fellow pirates. Who will have the best stories to tell?!

In Nassau, each player represents a team of pirates trying to earn the most points during the game. Nassau is played over 4 seasons, with each season divided into 2 phases.

In the first phase, players collect different items such as: weapons, pirate animals, piece coins, rum, sails and other things on the city game board to make their own ship stronger and prepare them for the second phase. You obtain these items by placing your pirates through a nifty placement mechanic in the city of Nassau, which leaves plenty of room for tactical decisions.

In the second phase, it's time to test how efficient your crew and ship really are by sailing the seas and participating in different adventures. Each action costs you a supply and depending on where you sail and what you do, you need weapons, cannons and ammo. But be careful, every weapon and cannon must be operated by a pirate, so keep your balance. Pirate animals allow you to use special powers that can change the tide of battle. Finally, you must return to your original base, but not without recounting your adventures and earning points. The better the story, the more points to win.
