DESCRIPTION

The "London" game retraces the period from the great fire of London in 1666 until the beginning of the 20th century. In this game, you will take part in the reconstruction of the city.

You will have to best manage your expenses while showing magnificence, knowing that your victory points will depend on your achievements. Be careful, however, not to leave poverty ruin your efforts ... This game is almost only a card game. These are divided into three packets to make you relive, as faithfully as possible, the events of history. You will place your constructions on a line exposed in front of you, on the table. The cards, thus spread out in your construction zone, will give you various advantages, such as money, victory points or a reduction in poverty. Most cards will have an effect when you restore your city. The money is important, since you will have to buy cards and land.

You will earn money depending on the cards spread out in front of you when you restore your city. If you lack money, nothing prevents you from taking a loan. Investing in London will allow you to earn even more cards and reduce the impact of poverty in your city (with more land, you reduce overcrowding). The tray is divided into areas called "districts". For each district is indicated its purchase cost, the number of cards that we draw and the number of victory points scored at the end of the game. The place where you buy land is not to be overlooked since the effect of certain cards depends on the boroughs you have. Poverty management is a vast problem. Often you are increasing it in restaurants the city. You can reduce it thanks to the effect of certain cards spread out in your construction area. The game will end when the last pack of cards is exhausted. You will count, then, your victory points. These will be obtained thanks to your building markers placed in the districts, to the cards spread out in your construction zone (even those covered) and to the money still in your possession. You will lose victory points for the poverty that you do not have on managing and the borrowings contracted.
