It took a long time. You and a colleague from the Arcane bakery can simply no longer work together. In a moment of frustration, you challenge them to a duel: after closing, no prohibited sockets. The loser resigns. And clean the mess.
The Battle of Patissorciers is a resource management game, where your resource is time. More specifically, time to cook the magic treats that you will use against your colleague. You can choose 2 actions per turn, and you will either put a recipe card in the oven, take a look in an oven (in case you forgot what you started to cook), mount the fire ( And advance the track on the back of a recipe card), or take a recipe from the oven (put the card in play). With these actions, you will cook new treats that are used either to reduce the health of your opponent, cure yourself, or allow special actions. When the health of a player is reduced to zero, they lose the game, and their opponent wins.
