Take on the role of an expedition and discover the diverse landscapes of Nepal, its temples, its cities and finally Kathmandu. Crossing land is often difficult and requires good planning, the right tools and a little luck. Sketch illustrious animals you discover, trade in towns for local goods, and visit the many temples to pay homage.
Kathmandu is played in rounds in which each player uses 3 of their 5 dice to gain resources and move around the landscaped boards. The final objective is to visit Kathmandu. Along the way, players earn points through different means: visiting temples, trading goods in towns, experiencing each landscape, and drawing the many unique animals that call Nepal their home.
Players must be efficient in their turns, to succeed as much as possible but also not waste a lot of time, because a storm is coming! Always be ahead of the storm and don't lose sight of Kathmandu, because reaching it before the end of the game earns a lot of extra points!
