DESCRIPTION
Horror in Arkham is an evolutionary and cooperative card game in which players embody investigators who work together to elucidate conspiracies and esoteric mysteries, while individually looking to overcome personal demons that haunt their past. Each player takes on the role of a single investigator and builds a deck around the capabilities of this character. The intrigue takes place in the city of Arkham, Massachusetts. A small group of investigators conducts the investigation to discover the true nature of a terrible threat that jeopardizes all humanity. The kingdom of mysteries conceals many horrors. The investigators will have to follow their investigation while ensuring to maintain a tenuous hold on their mental health to survive.
Horror in Arkham: the card game, a scenarios game
A series of interconnected scenarios creates a narrative campaign in which a more general mys-era is elucidated. In each of these scenarios, the investigators cross and ex-threatening a number of threatening places, seek clues that will allow them to advance history, and try to avoid or defeat the terrible forces of the myth. As the campaign takes place, each investigator gets experience and sagacity, which allows him to develop by adding new higher level cards to his deck.
Horror in Arkham: the card game, a cooperative game
Throughout the game, players will have a large number of choices to make. Investites will be encouraged to work together and plan what they plan to do during each round. Even if investigators can plan their laps collectively, each player retains any authority over the shares that his own investigator performs.
Horror in Arkham: the card game, an evolving game
New cards and adventures will appear at a regular rate in future extensions to make horror in Arkham, an evolutionary game. Players will be able to customize the contents of this basic box and create their own decks.
