New species fit seamlessly into the base game, and some introduce an entirely new effect. Instead of letting you play cards from your hand for free like usual, they let you search the clearing. If there is nothing suitable, you can try your luck by revealing a certain number of cards from the draw pile. Additionally, five new asymmetrical caves also provide variety.
