***WARNING, GAME USED***

Reiner Knizia's auction game on film production. In four rounds, players bet on tokens representing real directors, actors, camera, special effects, music, guest stars and agents (or in the Nightmare Productions edition: creatures, locations, directors, conductors, cameos and contractors). All of these elements are placed on the players' film strips to complete the film production. So a film may need two actors (in pre-Nightmare Productions releases), but no music or special effects and so on. As the films are completed, the point value is marked and another strip of film is taken. There are two games (in Nightmare Productions edition: horror cons) each round where players can choose from offers without paying anything. There are bonus points for completed first films and best films, best directors (in the Nightmare Productions edition: best creatures), even worst films.

The auction is an increasing base bid with passage until only one winning bid remains. Players pay into the pot with contracts (in Nightmare Productions edition: money), and the rest of the players share the pot each round. So it's a closed economy with players trying to time themselves to bid on what they really need to complete movies.
