DESCRIPTION

Chronicles of Crime is a cooperative criminal investigation game combining an application, a board game and a virtual reality touch. With the same physical components (table, locations, characters and objects), players will be able to play in many different scenarios and solve as many different stories of crime. The players launch the application, choose the scenario they wish to play and follow the story. The goal is to catch the killer of the current case as soon as possible.

Using Scan & Play technology, each component (locations, characters, elements, etc.) has a single QR code which, depending on the selected scenario, will activate and trigger different indices and stories. This means that players will be able to get new stories well after the game released, simply by downloading the application updates, without any new physical component being delivered.

Virtual reality experience requires only a mobile phone. Players simply place VR glasses (optional purchase) on their mobile device and put them on their noses, holding their mobile device in front of their eyes, to immerse themselves in the world of game and search for clues in a virtual world. The game comes with 1 tutorial and 5 scenarios, but others can be downloaded directly into the application!

Each session lasts approximately 1 hour to 1:30 am and many scenarios are linked to each other in order to tell a much larger story.
