DESCRIPTION
More than 300 wingspan fans have submitted illustrations of their favorite birds in the game for the Wingspan Fan Art Challenge, and Stonemaier selected 255 illustrations in a variety of styles. The end result is a large package of bird cards - mechanically identical to their Wingspan counterparts and Europe, Oceania and Asia extensions - to add a touch of special flavor to table trays around the world.
Stonemaier donated $ 25,000 ($ 1 per fan art wingspan product) to the Cornell Lab of Ornithology, the American Bird Conservancy, the Humane League, Maui Forest Bird Recovery Project or the John Hopkins University Center for Alternatives to animal testing.
Stonemaier is delighted to have the opportunity to celebrate the creativity of Wingspan fans in this way! Each selected artist receives a free fan art pack and a credit on his map, then retains full ownership of his art.
The box for cards is designed both for storage and recyclability; It will fit into the lower layer of the nest box. You can mix the cards in your standard wing set, select cards to replace the cards you have, or play games only with these birds (their percentages correspond closely to those noted on bonus cards).
