DESCRIPTION
In combat, there is no equal.
Unmatched is a very asymmetrical miniature fighting game for two or four players. Each hero is represented by a unique deck designed to evoke their style and legend. The tactical movement and the combat resolution without luck create a unique experience that rewards expertise, but just when you master a game, new heroes arrive to provide all the new games.
The fight is resolved quickly by comparing attack and defense cards. However, the unique effects of each card and a simple but deep timing system lead to interesting decisions each time. The game also offers an update version of the Tannhäuser's sights for remote attacks and zone effects.
The whole world is a scene in UNMATCHED: Slings and Arrows, while the Théâtre du Globe is a battlefield. William Shakespeare presents himself in battle with three of his wonderful characters: the Wayward, Hamlet and Titania sisters. The Shakespeare game, designed by Jonathan Guberman, was one of the winning games of a design competition in 2020 and rewards players who finished lines in iambic pentameur. The rebellious sisters, finalists of this competition by Jason Hager, is a multi-hero deck that challenges you to bring witch machinations to life with clever coordination.
