Elizabeth Hargrave helped designers David Gordon and Michael O’Connell to transform this game into something familiar but different from Wingspan, diving deep into the theme of fish. A more fluid game mechanics will make the game more accessible and will introduce an informed audience to the full range of games developed by Elizabeth Hargrave at Stonemaier Games.

 With a new approach to the mechanisms of table construction and habitat exploration-the tray is vertically oriented to simulate the scuba diving, and your character is a diver! You are a marine researcher who seeks to find and observe a whole range of aquatic life in the colorful "Sunlight Zone", the ghostly "Twilight Zone" and the dark "Midnight Zone" of the seas and oceans around the world.

In Finspan, the fish that you will discover during the 4 weeks will generate a series of advantages as you dive deeper into the ocean.

 Each diving site specializes in a key aspect of the development of your research: - Increase your fish collection. - Discover freshly laid eggs. - Link eggs and feed young people in benches.

The winner is the player who has accumulated the most points thanks to fish, eggs, young people, benches and achievements.
