DESCRIPTION
You direct a great civilization at the top of its influence, but can you save it from the collapse? In Empire End, 2-4 players compete to keep calamity at a distance. ENE ENE combines the intuitive and elegant mechanism of the reversed auction with the construction of engines, long -term planning and strategic depth. The result is a game with a quick tempo, abundant tension and multiple difficult paths towards victory.
The players start with a civilization at the top of its power. The game takes place in a series of phases, varying as you progress in the game. During the disaster phase, the players face a common threat such as famine, a flood or barbarians. The player who ends the auction must take the disaster, who devastates one of their territories.
With each catastrophe that strikes an empire, its people grows in wisdom and resilience. In the style of the modern classic game no Thanks, the resources offered by all the players will find themselves in the hands of the player who will ultimately take the disaster card. This player also acquires a new capacity, an innovation that reflects the ability of his Empire to adapt to difficult times.
Each round, the players move along a progress track that dictates if they will face a disaster or another type of phase. Players can gain new resources during the production phases, rebuild lost territories during the industry phases and challenge each other during the military phases. At the end of the progress track, the game is over and the winner is civilization with the greatest number of victory points. Intact territories contribute points, but military innovations and successes can provide other ways to win.
