DESCRIPTION

A 2-4 playing card game players, tracks and delicate decisions designed by the award-winning designer duo Brett J. Gilbert and Matthew Dunstan.

In the sleeping English countryside, life continues without being disturbed as it has done for centuries. It is up to you to travel in all corners of this country, by holding the promise of modernization, by responding to the strangely specific requests of the inhabitants and by inaugurating the era of steam.

In Village Rails, you will crisscross the fields of England with railway lines, connecting the villages between them and sailing in the complex and constantly evolving requests of rural communities. Connect the stations and farms to your local network while placing your rail signals and your avoidance routes with the greatest care. Meet the rigorous standards of the Cantankerous inhabitants who plan strangely specific trips and weigh their requests in relation to your limited funding. There is a lot to balance in this delicate game of construction of locomotive tables and local patterns.
