DESCRIPTION
Discover a new strategic expansion to renew and enrich your games of Carcassonne.
In this modern board game classic, you create the game board as the game progresses, with tiles representing the surroundings of Carcassonne. You then place your supporters there (knights, monks, travelers, peasants, etc.) in order to obtain as many victory points as possible and become the undisputed master of the famous City.
With the Carcassonne Tours & Thieves expansion, surveillance becomes crucial in Carcassonne. Build towers using Floors, set up your spotters and hunt down thieves on the board. This expansion turns every tile placed into an opportunity to control and block.
Each tower has a range determined by its number of Floors. If you place a tile within range of a tower, you can install a watcher there. When a player draws a tile with a Thief symbol, all towers without watchers gain height, and watchers in play score points. If there are no lookouts in play, the thieves steal the tile... and a new special tile is drawn instead! You can also remove an opposing watcher from a tower to place yours there: direct interaction guaranteed.
This expansion is part of the new 2025 range, with new visuals, new mechanics and adjusted rules to combine even more easily with the base game (required to play). It is compatible with all other extensions (the boxes of which form a frieze once aligned). This extension considerably enriches the dynamics of the base game without making the rules more complex. A must for Carcassonne fans!
