DESCRIPTION

Oath: Chronicles of Empire and Exile is a strategy game for one to six players where players will guide the course of history in an old country. They could try to strengthen the power of the chancellor or to plot to bring the kingdom to ruin. The consequences of a game will affect those that will follow, changing the resources and actions that future players could have at their disposal and even modify the basic victory condition of the game.

At the end of each part of Oath: Chronicles of Empire and Exile, the players will take into account what happened in their game during the Chronicle phase. During this phase, the game board will be refocused around the territory of the game winner, the victory condition may be adjusted and new cards will be introduced into the deck according to the way in which the previous part has been won. When they have completed this process, they have advanced the history of their world of a generation and prepared the field for the next crisis.

There is no pre-written narrative or predetermined termination point. Oath: Chronicles of Empire and Exile is not a legacy game. Instead, this is a game on heritage where players' choices will determine what will happen next.
