DESCRIPTION

"À la Gloire d'Odin" tells an epic saga with each part you play. You relive the cultural successes, commercial expeditions and the looting of those we call today "Vikings", a term that had a completely different meaning at the end of the first millennium.

When these northern men embarked to make a raid, they used to say that they were leaving for a "viking". Their Scandinavian ancestors were much more than pirates: he was also a people of explorers and founders of states. It is said that Leif Eriksson was the first European to set foot in America, long before Christopher Columbus.

In the region that is called Normandy today, these intruders were not called Vikings but "Normans". One of them was the famous Guillaume the Conqueror, who invaded England in 1066. He succeeded where the King of Norway failed a few years ago: to conquer the throne of England.

If the people of this people became exceptional sailors, it is partly because of their difficult agricultural situation: the weak harvests were at the origin of great distress.

In this game, you can explore new territories, or ravage them. You will also simulate everyday life, collecting resources in order to access a stable financial position within the company.

At the end of the game, it is the player whose possessions have the most value that prevails.
