Mayhem among the Dahus, initially marketed under the name Tanz der Hornochsen! (“The dance of the horned oxen” or Dance of Ibexes), is a variation of the famous 6 which takes. In this version, players must strategically place their ibex tiles on the game board without being pushed out of bounds.

Each player starts with a random assortment of numbered tiles. The game board includes several rows of varying lengths, with some squares having special symbols. At the start, four tiles are drawn at random and placed in the first square of the first four rows.

Each player chooses and reveals a tile simultaneously. The tiles are then placed on the board in ascending order of their numbers, following these rules:

  1. Lowest number: If the number of the tile played is lower than the number of all the tiles at the end of the row, place it at the end of the row with the highest end number.
  2. 2. Increasing value: The tile must have a higher number than the tile at the end of the row.
  3. 3. Minimum difference: The tile must be placed in the row where the gap with the tile at the end of the row is smallest.

The game ends when a player reaches the end of the score track or when there are no more tiles available for purchase. The player with the fewest points wins the game.
