PAPERBACK - The novelist deckbuilding game. You play a group of writers in search of celebrity. The most famous player at the end of the game is declared winner. The word construction game meets the deck construction game - The players start with a game of letters and jokers. With each hand, the players form words and buy more powerful letters depending on the score of their word. Most letters have capacities that are activated when used in a word, such as drawing more cards or double the letter scoring. The players buy jokers to win victory points. Paperback is its 7th edition in its original version, with more than 40,000 copies sold around the world! Paperback in French is a translation as well as an adaptation: the rules booklet as well as all the cards have been translated (even the celebrity cards), and the distribution of letters and diggers has been adapted to the French language.
