DESCRIPTION
In the Cyclades archipelago, off a disunited Greece, players develop their cities and compete to ensure their supremacy under the benevolent gaze of the gods.
Cyclades Legendary Edition combines:
- A strategic auction system defining the actions available for each player during his turn. Balance your finances in order to optimize the actions offered by the different gods.
- A territory control with the constantly renewed parties thanks to a modular tray. Tame its topology to make the most of them the resources
- Epic clashes with permanent tension. Recruit heroes, creatures and direct your troops to the strategic areas to conquer.
More than an aesthetic lift Cyclades Legendary Edition revives the experience of a pillar of the set. The Director’s Cut performed by Bruno Cathala and Ludovic Maublanc brings together and synthesizes the original game and its many extensions to provide a renewed experience and an updated gameplay.
Three new game configurations will be available:
- A mode of 3 to 5 “classic” players in which everyone defends their own interests;
- A team mode for 4 or 6 players, offering the possibility of playing in teams of 2 players, to mix cooperation within the team, and confrontation against opposing teams;
- A 2 players mode completely reworked compared to the previous version.
The modular game board, made up of landscape tiles assembled by players at the start of the game, will allow constantly renewed replayability.
Finally, 6 gods will be available, against 5 in the first edition of the game. The new mercenary unit that accompanies Hera, the new goddess, will boost battles. New creatures and heroes will appear to offer new opportunities, whether it is a question of building metropolises or obtaining decisive advantages at the Strategy military.
The auction phase has been reviewed to be shorter and dynamic thanks to the now exponential ladder of bets. Without forgetting, all the aesthetic aspect of the game (elements and illustrations) which has been reworked.
