Cities on the moon! This will be the crowning glory of humanity. Well, more connected to Earth — the moon, a springboard to the stars. The rockets are loaded with supplies and colonists; the robots are programmed and ready. Everything has been planned down to the smallest detail, and there is no chance of failure. To the moon!

Moon Colony Bloodbath is a build engines, lose engines board game, with a shared deck that players build that makes things happen, many of them are bad things that kill people in your moon colony, but some are positive, and others allow you to build.

Specifically, each trick card is revealed from the shared deck, which begins with four job cards, two incident cards, and two twists. For work, each player simultaneously performs an action of their choice: mining for money, farming for food, researching for cards, constructing a new building, or restocking boxes on buildings. Twists vary from game to game. Trouble adds a new event card to the deck: hunger, paperwork, bugs, accidents, leaks, power outage — anything that can go wrong will go wrong, and then each time the deck is shuffled, you can prepare for all those events again.

Players can also add cards to the shared deck, whether they are perks that are just for you or developments that affect all players.

The game lasts until a player's moon colony has no more people, or until players reach the bottom of the event deck. At this point, the player with the most survivors wins.
