Sleeping Gods: Distant Skies is an autonomous suite that takes place in the world of Sleeping Gods. As in the original game, you and your friends travel through a vast landscape while reading stories that branch and meet living characters, but in this game, you interact with the Atlas at a deeper level - Camming , by exploring, overcoming obstacles and looking for lost relics. The new action system gives you even more autonomy during your travels and your explorations.
In addition to the original game exploration and quest system, Sleeping Gods: Distant Skies offers a new approach to combat. The players now build a combat deck from which they draw various cards, which makes each fight a new dynamic enigma.
Although Sleeping Gods: Distant Skies relies on the elements of the history of the first game, it is not necessary to have played Sleeping Gods to appreciate this suite. The game presents new characters and new intrigues, explaining the concepts of the original game as you meet them.
