Medium: The Hand of Destiny invites you to exploit your psychic connection and find the word that connects two cards. Say it together, at the same time. The stronger your mind meld, the greater your reward will be.

This standalone version features new ways to synchronize minds and predict the future. Whether you're playing in a large group or facing Madame Fortuna in the new 2-player variation, the only right answer is what your partner thinks. Best of all, this game can be combined with any other Medium title to explore limitless possibilities.

In Medium: The Hand of Destiny, players take turns teaming up with their neighbor on the left and trying to find the unique word that connects two word cards.

Each turn you must- Play a card face up in front of your partner, who plays a card next to yours.- Together you count down: THREE... TWO... ONE... and say the word that connects the two cards - Medium - at exactly the same time.- If you succeed on the first try, you gain a high-value Mind Meld token. Are you missing? Your words become the new clues for a second attempt, then a third.

When the Crystal Ball card surfaces, the round ends. The team with the highest combined score wins!

Optional modules - ESP cards and Prediction tokens - add twists: steal a rival's words, forbid an opponent's response or bet on the fate of your opponents with Hand of Destiny tokens.
