Warriors of Middle-earth, the new expansion for The War of the Rings™ Second Edition, brings a whole new level of Strategy to all players of the award-winning Lord of the Rings board game, with many fresh and exciting gameplay possibilities to explore.
Many people and creatures played a role in the War of the Ring: the mysterious Ents, the Dead of Dunharrow, the Great Eagles of the Misty Mountains, the Corsairs of Umbar, the Wild Mountaineers of Dunland, the Giant Spiders of Mirkwood and Mordor.
Warriors of Middle-earth brings new depth to the exploits of these fighters, who previously only appeared in the game as event cards, making them now an essential part of the game, complete with unique miniatures and special abilities.
With new special dice, two sets of faction event cards, and new miniatures, Warriors of Middle-earth greatly expands the options for the Free and Shadow Peoples, and makes every battle in Second Edition of the War of the Ring even more challenging and fun.
