DESCRIPTION
The emperor is dead and the throne is waiting for his new host!
Genpei is a game of cards and Strategy For 1 to 4 players. In this board game that mixes deck construction and majority, you will develop your influence on the different clans to achieve victory.
You must skillfully play your cards to get the support of the Tanuki, Kitsune, Néko, Komainu clans and the Emperor's house, and thus manage to sit in these troubled times.
Increase the size of your decks with the cards in these clans in order to gain the maximum influency. So, in turn, you must play one of the two cards in your hand.
Whenever you play a clan card, it activates the clan marker on the corresponding clan wheel. Move the marker to one of the two adjacent boxes and perform the action indicated on this box.
You can carry out a chain of actions during the same turn: each time you draw a card as part of an action, its clan marker is activated. Finally, place your influence tokens to get the support of houses.
The player who receives support from the greatest number of houses (including the Emperor's house) is declared new emperor and wins the game.
