As a monarch of a kingdom, score the most points to write your legend. Select each turn the best combination of units: they symbolize your kingdom, through its wars and its accomplishments. But the space is precious and the wear of time sweeps your units.
Paper Tales is a subtle strategy game based on card combinations. All players act simultaneously for a condensed, tense and dynamic experience. Its original aging system of the units and its rigorous management of space bring great depth and an important learning curve.
Each round, players start with a draft to choose their units, depending on their various capacities. Then you will have to manage your gold well and the space available to deploy the best combination of units. But the weather adds age tokens to your units and ends up sweeping them, pushing you to renew your combinations. Fortunately, resources allow you to build powerful buildings, more than use to build a wide range of strategies.
