DESCRIPTION

Some of the best things in life come from those who are ready to ask difficult questions ...

The CDG Solo system is a revised GMT edition of the Solo CDG method of Stuka Joe, which rationalizes the solitary gameplay with two hands by reducing the general costs and the maintenance of the turns. This game method increases narrative immersion as the great battles in history take place on your table. The GMT edition of the CDG Solo system includes components printed by professionals, a personalized serigraphic die, a set of official rules and play sheets for seven of the most popular GMT card games.

Overview of the gameplay

The CDG Solo system plays alongside your favorite CDG and is designed to improve your lonely experience by reintroducing many of the best parts of the Wargaming which collapse in the game with standard two hands, namely, as Stuka Joe A mentioned above, the narrative flow and the fog of war.

The CDG Solo system includes two card displays that are used to manage the hand on each side of the strategy cards. At the start of the round on each side, you will launch a destiny dice to determine which cards from one or more slot machines are available for the game. Generally, 2 or 3 cards are available at the same time, but the decision you belong to you in the end. Once a card is played, the marker on the Cards Remaining track slides from a place to the left, then it is time to launch the die for the turn on the other side.

Because the level of maintenance of the turn is so low, the rhythm of play quickly becomes second nature and allows the game to shine. The combined game between the roller of the Fate Die and the arrangement of card displays offers many advantages for CDG solitary players. First of all, the singular dice throws an almost instantaneous result that limits the player's options so that a decision can be taken quickly for each side.

Second, because the cards are only shot visible when their scholar is rolled, the player does not know all the cards that will be available for each side. This, combined with the fate die dictating which slot machines are available to each turn, effectively restores a reasonable degree of uncertainty and allows the player to focus on the options for the active side, instead of being the victim of the tension mental to try to take each card into consideration while pretending not to know what the other side plans to do.

Finally, the system allows an element of surprise. From time to time, the perfect strategy is at stake as the matrix rolls. Whether things seem dark (until the dice roller turns the perfect card) or everything has the impression of falling perfectly into the alignment (until the card slot you need is not Not rolled), the Solo CDG system reintroduces the fog of war with CDG solitary wargaming. The moments that do not go as planned make the best stories.

With a summary of the rules and the components of which we have spoken above, the system will be launched with the official support of Playsheet for seven GMT games:

  • Caesar: Rome vs Gaule
  • Orders and colors: old
  • Orders and colors: samurai battles
  • For the people
  • Glory illusions
  • Glory paths
  • Washington War

The game sheets are unique rules of rules, front and rear, which contain all the specific rules for the game necessary to use the system. This is in particular a configuration diagram, a list of decisions relating to the results and changes to the system necessary to meet the requirements of unique game rules.

For those who are familiar with the original solo method of Stuka Joe, the Playsheets are based on original "tweak sheets" and offer the same ease, simplicity and clarity while helping the game experience. While the CDG Solo system is launched with the care of the titles mentioned above, the development team will continue to build more official Playsheets to take charge of old and new CDGs in the GMT catalog.

Finally, we recognize that the Solo CDG system was a community effort and we want to restore the community that has developed this system. Thus, GMT will make the rules book, the reading sheets and all the necessary files available for free download Print-And-Play when the system is sent to the printer.
