DESCRIPTION

A witch and a witch hunter compete in this asymmetrical card game for 2 players: the first seeks to complete a powerful ritual, while her opponent conducts the investigation to find out under what identity she hides.

The essence of this asymmetrical game is the witch's fight against the witch hunter. As the witch strives to perform a ritual, the hunter tries to find her and discover her true identity. The two players have access to variable decks of 50 cards each and use different resources to defeat the other camp. Many tactics and strategies are possible and necessary to survive in this fight between the two powers. The dark graphics of the illustrator Maren Gutt give life to the fictitious history of the lost colony of Roanoke. The witch tries to accomplish a reborn ritual before being exposed by the witch hunter and eliminated. Nine villagers are suspected and only the sorcerer player knows who is the real witch. Each round, the two players use their pawns of action on active villagers to draw cards, play cards and gain influence. In addition, the witch can prepare powerful potions, improve her familiar and launch enchantments and charms, while the witch hunter recruits allies, claims strategic places and merciless investigation on the villagers. As a witch, your objective is to collect enough secrets to accomplish a ritual so powerful that the whole region will fall under your charm and that Mother Nature will take over the island. As a hunter, you must bring together all the allies and the support that you can bring together to translate the witch into justice before her fatal ritual is realized.
