DESCRIPTION
The king is dead, will you be able to take advantage of the situation and take you from the throne?
The king is dead. The kingdom is divided. Three factions - the Scottish, the Welsh and the English - compete for control of Great Britain. While instability is gaining ground and foreign invaders are at the gates of the kingdom, he desperately seeks a king. But who will want such responsibility?
The king is dead is a game with simple rules but of great depth. Alone against all or in teams, you only have eight cards for the whole game. We will then constantly make decisive choices, and you will learn that doing nothing is also taking part in history.
Simple rules to rewrite history!
During the game, you will solve power struggles in the eight regions that make up the island. Determine which faction will rise to the top and crown the new king. Become the favorite candidate of the triumphant faction, and the kingdom will be yours!
During the game you will play action cards that will influence the balance of power on the set. You will have in everything and for everything that these eight cards in hand for the whole game. Knowing when you have to play or pass your turn will be the key to victory. Act too early and your opponents will thwart your plans, wait too long and the island's fate will already be sealed.
Whenever you take action, you summon a supporter to your course. This increases your influence within the faction to which this supporter belongs. Each supporter rallied to your cause therefore strengthens your leading position within its faction. But beware, convening a supporter weakens the influence of his faction in the region where he was taken, which makes power struggles more difficult to win.
Once each region has been claimed, the faction controlling a majority of regions takes power, and the player with the most influence within this faction wins the game.
