DESCRIPTION

Pagan: Beyond the palisades is Pagan's first extension: Roanoke's fate.

A witch hunter tries to prevent the witch from accomplishing a ritual in Roanoke in 1587. The first disorders appeared at the same time as the colony. Even before the first suspicions of witchcraft appear, establishing new borders was already difficult. However, the village had to push recognitions beyond its palisades to find new resources. But a thick, almost supernatural mist covers the surrounding swamps and its mysterious fauna. The rare fields that the villagers tried to cultivate there are dead. The cows are weakening, their milk turns, the eggs in the hens are green. Is the presence of the witch only the consequence of a phenomenon of hidden magnitude there since the dawn of time? Is it possible to purify the campaign to finally allow the colony to prosper?

Pagan: Beyond the palisades is an asymmetrical card game for two players playing the role of the witch or the witch hunter. The witch tries to accomplish a reborn ritual before being unmasked and eliminated by the witch hunter. Nine villagers are suspected and only the witch player knows who is the real witch. Each round, players use their action pawns on active villagers to draw cards, play cards, gain influence and manage the "Gloom". In addition, the witch can prepare powerful potions, improve her familiar and launch enchantments and charms, while the witch hunter recruits allies, claims strategic places and merciless investigation on the villagers.
