DESCRIPTION

Twilight Struggle is a game for two players who simulate the forty-five years of intrigue, prestige, and occasionally outbreak of violence between the Soviet Union and the United States.

The whole world is the theater on which these two titans fight to defend their ideals and their way of life.

The game begins on the ruins of Europe, when entering the two new "superpowers", and ended in 1989.

The base of the Twilight Struggle system is inspired by Card Driven classic such as We The People or Hannibal: Rome vs Carthage. It is an equally fast and fluid game. The event cards cover a large number of historical events, Arab-Israeli conflicts from 1948 and 1967 to Vietnam, including the US peaceful movement, and the Cuban missile crisis ... which led the world to the edge of the 'Nuclear annihilation.

The entangled mechanics simulate the prestigious race for space as well as nuclear tensions, with the possibility that the atomic war ends the game.

A masterpiece of the genre, demanding, complete and complex!
