DESCRIPTION

This is the effervescence at the king's court! The advisers are busy around the young monarch, and everyone tries to stand out in this regency period. When the king has taken out insurance, he will not fail to appoint his most faithful advisers to his government. How to distinguish yourself ...? Strengthen your position and weaken that of others is that, life in the court!

For the king (and me) is a overhaul of the famous biblios, developed by its author for even more intense games ... and more numerous players, since it is now possible to play up to 5 players!

Draft, auction and collection
For the king (and me) is played in two distinct phases: draft and auction.

During the first phase, players draw cards and decide to assign them to their hand, discard or in the common market, in which all players are then forced to take cards. Once the draw is emptied, the king reached his majority, it is the start of the auctions.

During the second phase, the players reveal the discharge cards and bid to get them using gold. Their goal is obviously to complete the collections started in the first phase ... and to do everything to counter those of their opponents.

The war of the majority
To win, players must do everything to get the majority in each ministry, and thus win the most prestigious honorary titles. The Twist is that it is possible to develop the value of the ministries during the game. And that if you are obviously very early on a ministry, your opponents will be happy to lower the value, so that it does not bring you much at the end of the game. You will therefore have to be able to place yourself without revealing your intentions too much ... and wait for the end of the game to ensure the value of the ministry that you have brilliantly won.

Also note that it is the two majority players of each collection that will win points, which allows you to keep the struggle open for each ministry until the very last moment, no one having interest to let go of its opponents. The final resolutions are more spectacular, more dramatic ... and often tightened.

A most neat reissue!
With its pleasant and intuitive equipment, its light theme (but very present) and the possibility of playing up to 5 players, for the king (and me) goes even further than his illustrious model and allows players to live both captivating and unprecedented game experiences. A real rediscovery!
