For years, your trips have made you cross the imaginary kingdom of Terrinoth, adventing you in dark forests, shaded cities, old crypts and misty swamps, but your real legend is about to start.

Forge your own legend with friends as you go on an adventure through the fantastic kingdom of Terrinoth in the cooperative board game of the: Legends of the Dark. Powered by an integrated free companion application, Descent: Legends of the Dark puts you in the role of a budding hero with their own style of play and their capacities. With your improbable companions, you will start an unexpected adventure - an adventure told through the sixteen quests in the "blood and flame" countryside. Throughout your campaign, you will face the undead hidden in mists, demonic barbarians tracking down nature, and even more terrifying threats. With 46 pieces of 3D terrain and forty miniatures of heroes and monsters to attract you in the game, your greatest adventure is still in front of you! Your goals will go from one quest to another by following the global history of the campaign.

The main game mechanisms such as combat, fatigue, skills, objects, and even more have received completely new interpretations with Legends of the Dark, while a new approach to the layout of scenarios and field 3D creates striking multi -way scenarios.

The gameplay is fast and intuitive. You take three actions each turn: a maneuver action and two additional actions of your choice. Maneuver gives you points of movement, as indicated in the upper right corner of the character sheet, and since you always have a maneuver action, you can reposition yourself to put yourself in a more advantageous position for the attack. Other than the maneuver, you can use an action to attack an enemy, roll your attack dice and shoot your hero's capacities and weapons to inflict the maximum damage or inflict conditions harmful to your enemies, Or you can use the Explore action to interact with a 3D piece of terrain or a token using the application. You can also use your action to carry out one of the most crucial actions in the legends of the dark: the ready action, which allows you to return your hero leaf or one of your cards on its opposite side, Unlocking new abilities!

Your hero leaf is not the only thing you can ready. Each hero also has an attack card and skill cards! Each hero starts the game with two weapon cards, which are gathered back to back to create a single attack card. Competence cards can also be prepared, going from two additional capacities.

The application also brings new changes to the gameplay, by introducing enemies with adaptable strategies, complex status effects, and triggers entirely managed by the application, and the ability to develop your heroes according to the choices you make in the scenarios.
