Formaggio (English)

You are an Italian cheesemaker at the beginning of the 20th century who makes, ages and sells your artisanal cheeses. Become the most prestigious cheese maker in Italy by running a very successful creamery and making exceptional cheese. Formaggio is a standalone extension for Cheese. With the two games put together, you can combine any 4 board quadrants, and draw any combination of structure tiles for more variety and more paths to victory.

Formaggio is a simultaneous worker placement game where players place workers to make cheese and gather resources in the quadrant of the board in front of them. Once all players have placed their workers, the board rotates, ages any cheese that has been made, and presents each player with a new quadrant in which to place workers. Earn prestige points by selling cheese in all four locations, and efficiently managing and upgrading your creamery.

Formaggio offers 4 new quadrants of the board with all new puzzling mini-games:
• Pair your cheese with Vigneto wines.
• Sell cheese to restaurants along the Venetian canals and attract customers.
• Distribute cheese across the Icelands of Italy.
• Place the cheese in the Banca. (Yes, there is a real bank in Italy that accepts cheese as collateral for loans!)

Other new features:
• Platinum level cheeses.
• Collect various rewards in each of the seasons.
• All new abilities on player boards and structure tiles.
