DESCRIPTION
Between Two Cities is a 30 -minute game of tile draft for 1 to 7 players in which each tile is part of a city. You work with the player on your left to build a city center while working simultaneously with the player on your right to build a second city center. With each turn, you select two tiles of your hand, reveal them, then work with your partners to place one of your tiles selected in each of your two cities.
At the end of the game, each city is noted for its architectural greatness. Your final score is the lowest of the scores of the two cities you have helped to design, and the player with the highest final score wins the game. To win, you have to share your attention and your dedication also between two cities.
The essential edition combines the components of the original game and the capital expansion in a coherent whole. Although it has a larger box than the original game, a different art on certain tiles, and a marker instead of a painting, there are no new gameplay elements (i.e. ., If you have Between Two Cities and the Capitals extension, you already have everything).
