DESCRIPTION

Perseverance: Castaway Chronicles presents the first two episodes of a series of games of Strategy Euro-Style. The saga will ultimately consist of four episodes, telling the story of a group of survivors becoming a powerful civilization on a hostile island. As each episode has unique characteristics and a different playing feeling, they are playable as autonomous medium / heavy games, but also as a continuous campaign. The theme and the story take place through the evolution of game mechanisms through episodes, also making the rules that are easier to learn. In the campaign mode, the result of each episode influences the following, but the game has no inherited elements and no hidden rules; The whole story is relayable to the infinity.

In episode 1, players strive to develop and protect the city of Perseverance, besieged by the island's dinosaurs. By building walls, traps and colonies, by setting up defenses and participating in the first political power struggles in a community in training, players win supporters to settle as leaders. Episode 1 presents the characteristic mechanism of placement of the dice and majority of zone which evolves and extends through the series, and also has a defense mechanism against the waves of attackers, unique to this episode.

In episode 2, the survivors successfully defended the city of Perseverance, completing a massive wall to stop the assault on dinosaurs. Under the direction of the senior officers of the ship, the players have now undertook to explore the surrounding wilderness, to extend the colony beyond the walls and to draw a path to the mysterious structure on the horizon. This episode adds new actions to extend the basic mechanism and allows in -depth personalization of your leader and your faction thanks to dozens of unique skills. The defense mechanism of the previous episode evolves in adventure and expansion, allowing you to build outposts beyond the city walls, but beware-Dinosaurs are still not your friends.
