DESCRIPTION

*** BE CAREFUL, USED GAME ***

We are in 1926, and the vast collection of exotic curiosities and occult artefacts of the museum threatens the barriers between our world and the ancient ills that are hidden between the dimensions. The doors of the beyond begin to open, and terrifying creatures of an increasing force fly through them. Animals, crazy, and those of more sensitive minds are pushed to despair by the supernatural forces that gates release. Only a handful of investigators racing against the watch to locate the Eldritch symbols necessary to seal the portals forever. They alone can prevent the old from finding his way to earth and reducing humanity to ashes.

Elder Sign is a cooperative and rapid dice game of supernatural intrigue for one to eight players by Richard Launius and Kevin Wilson, the designers of Arkham Horror. The players take the roles of investigators in the race against the clock to avoid the imminent return of the old. Armed with tools, allies and occult knowledge, investigators must put their mental health and endurance to the test while they go on an adventure to locate Elder Signs, the symbols of the elders used to seal the old And win the game.

To locate Elder Signs, investigators must succeed in enduring their adventures in the museum and its surroundings. A countdown reveals an old one if the investigators are not fast enough. Investigators must then fight the former. A clever and thematic dice mechanism hollows out their exploration against monsters and the difficulty of staying healthy and healthy, all in the standard play of play from one to two hours.
