DESCRIPTION

In the 16th century, Russia began to expand east to develop the vast expanses of Siberia. This phase of history is closely associated with the name "Stroganov".

In the Stroganov game, players try to collect the best furs to gain wealth and fame as they move through the immensity that is Siberia. They will cross Siberia in spring, summer and fall before returning home every winter. After four years (Tours), the player who best used his actions and collected the most victory points wins.

Each year, players must move east through the landscape. They can spend horses if they want to travel further. Once they have advanced, they can take a basic action, such as trade or collection of furs or piece of money. Finally, they can take more advanced measures such as visiting a village, installing a yurt, making a vow of the tsar (card), establishing a hunting pavilion or buying landscaped land. All these actions, combined with exploration and narration along the way, allow players to win points at the end of the game.

Every winter, the players return home to Tioumen to prepare a new year.

After four years, the game ends, then the players score victory points on the basis of having collected the right landscape tiles, filled the wishes of the Tsar, built hunting camps, collected from furs, and more.
