DESCRIPTION

Gather the scrolls and bring them back to the house of wisdom so that they are translated.

Scholars of the southern tiger takes place at the height of the Abbasid caliphate, around 830 AD. The caliph called on the most lively minds to acquire scientific manuscripts from around the world. Players will have to increase their influence in the house of wisdom and hire qualified linguists to translate foreign parchments in Arabic. In this golden age of wisdom and knowledge, be sure not to neglect one in the pursuit of the other.

The goal of the game is to be the player with the most victory points (PV) at the end of the game. Points are won by translating scrolls, increasing knowledge in various fields of science and mathematics, influencing the 3 guilds and removing translators after their years of loyal service. The end of the game is triggered once the 4 Caliph cards have been revealed.
