DESCRIPTION
Shogun is based on the Wallenstein game system (first edition). The game takes place in the Sengoku period (around 1467-1573) which ends with the creation of the well-known Tokugawa Shogunat.
Japan during the Sengoku period or "belligerent states": each player assumes the role of a large daimyo with all his troops. Each daimyo has the same 10 possible actions to develop their kingdom and secure the points. To do this, he must deploy his armies with great skill. Each round, the players decide which actions must be played and in which of their provinces. If the battle follows between the opposing armies, the unique Cubetower tower plays the main role. The troops on both sides are thrown together and the cubes falling at the bottom show which won immediately. Having provinces, temples, theaters and castles means points when the scores are counted. Whatever Daimyo has the greatest number of points after the second count becomes - Shogun!
