DESCRIPTION

It was in the summer of 1940 and the North African campaign began. The long range Desert Group (LRDG), a unit of recognition and secret operations of the British army has just been formed. Its mission is to break into enemy lines to report information and prepare raids. Order these reckless soldiers in a series of daring missions, or order the formidable forces of the Italian royal army to eradicate these incursions once and for all. Take things in hand in the middle of chaos of the desert war, thwart the opposition through the uncovered sands and rocky lands, and stay adamant.

In Inflexible: North Africa you order a group of specialist in the desert war or unity of the conventional Italian army. Through a mission series, you will have to fight to take, hold or destroy strategic objectives. Each scenario will have a landscape of tiles different from the others, which you will have to master in order to get objectives and earn advantageous positions. You will play cards from your pickaxe to control your men and while their injuries will accumulate, you will have to acquire new cards to invigorate your soldiers that are running out.

If you've already played inflexible: Normandy

Inflexible: North Africa is the second game to use the inflexible system. If you have already played inflexible: Normandy then the concepts of this game will already be familiar to you. However, it is different enough for you to read these rules entirely. Here is a summary of the main differences to consider:

Scale : In North Africa, each fighting pawn represents a single soldier, instead of a group of soldiers.

Losses: In North Africa you order if a fighter pawn is removed from the tray, all the corresponding fighting cards are removed from the game. The fighting pawns that leave the set cannot come back, as they could in Normandy.

Asymmetry: In most North African missions, the objectives and composition of the unity of the LRDG and the Italian forces are much more asymmetrical than in Normandy.

Control: In North Africa, you can take control of a tile occupied by an enemy fighting pawn if the enemy does not already control it.

New elements: North Africa introduces new types of soldiers, actions, vehicles, structures and much more!
