DESCRIPTION
*** BE CAREFUL, USED GAME ***
Legendary: A Marvel Deck Building Game is located in the Marvel Comics universe. To set up the game, the players choose a brilliant villain (Magneto, Loki, Dr. Doom, Red Skull in the basic game), stack the attack cards of this particular villain below, then modify the Villain game If necessary as a function of the particular scheme of this villain. The players then choose a number of hero games-Spider-Man, Hulk, Wolverine, etc. - and mix them together; Since players use only a handful of hero games among the fifteen included, the hero game can vary considerably in terms of what is available.
During the game, players will recruit powerful hero cards to add to their deck in order to build a stronger and more ingenious deck. Players must build both their recruitment powers (to enlist more heroes) and their combat capacity (to fight the bad guys who keep arising to cause problems). Players recruit heroes from a table of five cards, with empty locations filled if necessary. At the start of a player's round, he revealed a villain and added it to the row of bad guys. This row has a limited number of spaces, and if it fills up, the first villain to arrive escapes, possibly punishing the heroes in a certain way. Some bad guys also take action during the first time, such as the removal of an innocent passer -by. The Villain game also contains "Master Strike" cards, and each time one of them appears, the nasty brain (controlled by the game) takes a bonus action.
When players fight and beat the bad guys, they collect these cards, which are worth points at the end of the game. Players can also fight the brain; If a player has enough combat power, he claims one of the attack cards under the brain, which has a particular effect on the game. If all these cards are claimed, the game ends and the players count their points to see who wins. If the brain completes its plan, however - having a number of bad guys who escape, for example, or impose a certain number of hero injuries - then the players all lose.
Hero in the basic game: Gambit, Black Widow, Hawkeye, Emma Frost, Thor, Spider-Man, Iron Man, Storm, Captain America, Nick Fury, Rogue, Cyclops, Hulk, Wolverine, Deadpool.
