DESCRIPTION
At 11:40 p.m. on April 14, 1912 in the North Atlantic, the R.M.S. Titanic hit an iceberg. The water immediately floods the compartments of the ocean liner and the ship fits into a disturbing manner. There is no hope about the result. On board, there is a widespread panic.
Alone, or in cooperation with other crew members, you have to show the presence of mind and do what it takes to save as many passengers as possible. Hurry up...
The SOS Titanic cards set uses a mechanism similar to patience, with the cards representing the passengers which must be arranged on the bridges, then placed in the rescue canoes in a particular order. As a member of the crew, you and your teammates must move and organize these passengers as quickly as possible. Each section of the Titanic contains a pile of cards, the first one of which is available.
In turn, a player draws a few cards from the main bridge and tries to move the passengers of the ship flowing on the lifeboats. The fact of not moving at least one passenger or having to reshape the main bridge could lead to the sinking of a section of the ship, thus reducing the number of piles available as well as the hopes of those who are still on board. Players can also use action cards to intervene at fateful moments when things seem otherwise lost. The game ends when the ship has completely sank or when all the remaining passengers were saved.
