Nanty Narking is a Victorian and Podsnappery board game of the British game designer Martin Wallace, based on his previous designer acclaimed "DiscWorld: Ankh-Morpork". Until profoundly immersed in the world of literature of Dickens and Doyle, all the places of play, events and characters are now linked to real and fictional characters and places in Victorian London.
The action takes place on the London menu, the players placing their followers and their buildings on the set thanks to card games. Each of the 132 cards is unique and presents famous literary and historical characters. The rules are relatively simple: play a card and do what it says. Most cards have more than one action on them, and you can choose to do some or all these actions. Some cards also allow you to play a second card, so you can chain actions. At the start of the game, each player draws a secret personality with specific victory conditions, which means that you can never be sure of what other players must do to win.
In Nanty Narking, you will find simple game rules, a deep and immersive gameplay, a strong theme and beautiful components.
