In Too Deep is a unique story that propels you into the future into a tense and strategic board game for 1 to 4 players. Write characters and spend actions to achieve objectives and collect sets. What side of the law will you find yourself?
In 2087, central governments fell. What remains are fragmented cities like New Dawn City, fighting to keep chaos at a distance. The disaster union targets these weakened cities for domination by usurping, organizing and strengthening existing criminal elements. In the world of In Too Deep, you are part of a secret agency dedicated to stopping the union at all costs.
Cybernetic implants give union operators a technological advantage, but you have found a way to exploit this power. By infiltrating their brain improvements, you can take control of these criminals. By going deep under cover in the minds of your targets, you will coordinate crimes of increasing severity to get hold of the essential evidence necessary to thwart the imminent conspiracy of the union.
Each round, you can connect to a new criminal and manipulate its activities throughout the city, accessing powerful skills and increased endurance as you familiarize yourself with its mind. Your physical body is in a secret laboratory far from real action, but you are in no way safe. Entering the minds of criminals has an impact on your morality.
Orchestrate crimes, strive to best use the information you collect, fight against dangerously corrupt dilemmas and try to keep yourself together. It will take everything you have to avoid going too deep.
