DESCRIPTION

In Bitoku, the players assume the roles of Bitoku spirits of the forest in their path to transcendence, with the aim of rising and becoming the next great spirit of the forest. To do this, they will have the help of the Yōkai, the Kodamas and the various pilgrims who accompany them on their way. It is a game of hand management, construction of engines with multiple paths towards victory.

Players will have Yōkai represented by the cards that make up their hand, which must be placed in the right places at the right time in order to obtain the maximum of the capacities they offer. In addition, during the game, players can win more Yōkai cards for their deck, increasing their game options and obtaining a higher score. Each player also has three Yōkai goalkeepers (in the form of dice) that he can send to the large forest regions on the main set in order to obtain all kinds of new options that he can play during the game. These options Can be structures they build in certain areas of the forest, soul crystals that generate resources when certain actions are carried out, and many others too. Players also have the chance to help mitamas, lost souls looking for redemption using the fireflies Chinkon.

There is really a wide range of actions to be carried out, and it is without taking into account the personal field where players can exhibit another layer of additional strategy while managing pilgrims. Pilgrims are disciples of the player who embark on contemplation and reflection trips which then share the experiences and learning that they can along the spiritual path with the Bitoku.
